Debuting a couple of stills for Wally Pfister’s directorial debut of “Transcendence,” we got a quick look at the upcoming movie, opening in theaters and IMAX on April 18th, 2014. The sci-fi flick stars Johnny Depp , Kate Mara and Morgan Freeman , and comes at us from Pfister, who is most recognized for his work on Christpher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” legends. According to the synopsis, “Two leading computer scientists work toward their goal of Technological Singularity, as a radical anti-technology organization fights to prevent them from creating a world where computers can transcend the abilities of the human brain.” In addition to “Transcendence,” Johnny Depp is also at work on a long list of movies, including, “Into the Woods,” Mordecai” and “London Fields,” all in post-production, and set to premiere in 2014.
