It’s only fitting that one of basketball’s biggest legends have a legendary wedding, and Michael Jordan’s attempt reportedly cost him nearly $10 million. On Saturday, April 27th, the former Chicago Bull married Yvette Prieto in Palm Beach, Florida. After a ceremony at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, the reception was held at Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida. With over 300 guests and performances by Usher, Robin Thicke, and K’Jon, the price tag really racked up. According to Us Weekly, decorations included crystal candelabras, candles, white roses, peonies, and tulips with purple accents, with everything coming together under wedding planner Sharon Sacks.

Everyone remembers his massive cheating scandal from a few years back, and Tiger Woods even got flak from Lindsey Vonn long before they became lovers. According to a report, the Olympic skier had some choice barbs to throw at the disgraced golfer following his February 2010 press conference in which he admitted to multiple affairs. At the time, Lindsey told press, “I really want to see that now,” and after Tiger gave a few friends hugs on camera, she quipped, “They’re like, ‘Yeah, you’re awesome, you go have that sex.’” Vonn even imagined a skit in which she gave her own press conference confession- “There’s something you don’t know about me…Tiger, you’re like my idol, and I too have a sex problem… That would be freaking funny.” Nowadays, however, Lindsey and Tiger are a happy dating couple, per simultaneous announcements from both sides. Having conquered the world of swimming, Michael Phelps is now turning his attention to…golf! The record-holding Olympian will appear in the Golf Channel show, “The Haney Project,” in which he’ll receive instruction from former Tiger Woods coach, Hank Haney. Stoked about the new opportunity, the 27-year-old athlete explained, “I have traveled the world through swimming, but really haven’t had an opportunity to experience the world through my travels. As I enter this next chapter of my life, I think I will be able to shift my competitiveness to anything I put my mind to and golf is one of the things I want to focus on.” Yesterday, he tweeted his new coach, “Looking forward to working with you hank!!” Following other celebrities like Charles Barkley, Ray Romano, and Adam Levine, Phelps has an idea of what he’s in for. “I’m excited about this project with Golf Channel and I’m looking forward to working with Hank and see what we can do together on the golf course.” Beginning in February, the series will show the 18-time gold medal winner in one-on-one golf instruction and playing courses around the globe.
